The Love or Heart Month...
This is such an interesting month...first of all, Punxsutawney
Phil saw his shadow, and they claim that this means that somewhere will be six
more weeks of winter. We sure hope and pray not a snowy-icy winter here in
Oklahoma. So far we have been blessed with a very mild season. Although
rain is needed.
A couple of fellas were out fishing the other day and caught a few.
Nothing to write home to mother about...but at least they enjoyed the day and
had lots of fun in the sun.
Secondly, on Feb. 12th Lincoln's Birthday is observed. On Tuesday, Feb. 14th
is"Valentines Day". This day is is very nice to celebrate love with those
who have a
special place your heart. There are some delicious recipes on our site
that might inspire you to fix a yummy dinner for that certain someone, a
precious family or treasured friend(s). This is a wonderful time to focus
on the one who loves each of us so much that He gave us His unconditional love.
Agape Love...what a gift. No other love can compare.
This month recognizes President's Day on Feb. 20th. Then on Feb. 22, it is
Washington's Birthday and Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. Then, on
the last day of this month, we have an added day, Wednesday,
February 29th,
making 2012 a Leap Year.
If any of you are celebrating a Birthday this month,
Happy Birthday !
